How I Almost Died at Old Navy....

Well....this past Sunday, I ran to Old Navy after apartment ministry to use a 30% off coupon that a friend of mine had let me have . I was so excited about my coupon that I didn't mind that everyone in the DFW area also had this coupon, and were all at the same Old Navy.

Anyways, there I am, checking out with one lady ahead of me and many behind, when I started to feel like I might be about to faint. Now, I am not a common fainter, but I was pretty sure that I would soon be hitting the ground. I started getting super hot, and I just knew that this was not normal over heating.

So...I get to the front of the line, and while the Old Navy worker is checking me out, I realize that if I don't act fast, I am going to hit the ground. So, I announce to him that I need to sit down, and I asked him if he had any water. Needless to say, I am being humbled at this point too.

The guy quickly advises me he'll go get me a water, but I'll need to give him $.75 cents. Of course, my life would be worth $.75 cents. Wanting to live more than I wanted to save a dollar, I gave him the money, and just sat on a bench while people watched the big pregnant lady.

Finally, the guy comes back, and let's me know that there is no water. I had to laugh that they were out of waters. I called Lee to see if he could come get me, but his phone was off. (And unfortunate for him, he would pay for it later)

To make my long story, short.....Praise Jesus...the fainting moment passed. So...I grabbed my 30% off new shirt and drove home. And I still plan to be a faithful shopper of Old Navy.
