LUKE.....

This is Luke's face when he heard the good news that he was going to be a big brother, and he would have to start sharing his toys.

December 20th 2008

December 20, 2008 marks the date of Lee's 30th birthday. To celebrate this big birthday, I thought I would make a list of 30 things I love about Lee.
1. He loves the Lord
2. He loves his family
3. He really walks in humility
4. He is witty
5. He spends quality time with Luke
6. He doesn't mind driving everywhere we go
7. He really enjoys his friends
8. He is loyal
9. He pretends he is sleeping when I ask him to do things around the house
10. He prays over Luke before he goes to bed every night
11. He makes me laugh
12. He admires his father
13. He lets me pick out girl movies
14. He is patient
15. He loves music
16. He loves to cook
17. He gives me massages (after I beg him)
18. He believes it is better to buy quality than quantity
19. He likes surprises
20. He enjoys teaching
21. He is considerate of others
22. He can two-step
23. He apologizes first always
24. He prays over us each night
25. He believes the bathroom is a great place to talk to friends on the phone
26. He still owns his game boy from childhood (and plays it)
27. He wants to be a professional photographer
28. He can make glass mosaic vases
29. He loves working in the yard
30. He is always kind to me and helps to push me more to the Lord.

Thanksgiving

Well....we finished another year of turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, rolls, gravy, pies, and anything else I could put my hands on. We went to DeRidder, LA, my home town, this year for Thanksgiving. I love going home. It doesn't happen often enough. I come from a family of four siblings. When we are all in town, with all of our children, the house is very much full.
So...this year, we sat around the table and all discussed what we were grateful for.
