The family
So......we just wrapped up our holiday weekend. We celebrated Jesus' with worship, family, and food. Being that it was Luke's first Easter, we wanted to make sure that he woke up to painted eggs and a filled basket of candy. (the candy is a perk of having a new born)
In regards to the eggs, Lee stayed up late to finish painting them all (he's nice). Painting eggs is one of those things that in the beginning you are real excited, but by the end, you regret you made so many eggs. At least, all Lee's work was recycled into delicious deviled eggs.
As I write this blog, it just makes me realize how good God is. This weekend was wonderful. I got to appreciate the sacrifice of Jesus. I was able to love on my family. I was able to dress Luke like a little man which I love to do. I was able to eat really good food. God is good. Happy Easter.
